Merriman to Green Bay?
Nick Barnett has been making a push for Green Bay to go out and get Shawne Merriman from the San Diego Chargers.
Would this be a good move? I think so, especially if Aaron Kampman isn't brought back. He isnt a good fit for the 3-4 anyway, so I feel that Merriman would be an upgrade over Kampman right now anyway. Ted Thompson usually isnt big on giving up draft picks, which he would have to do to sign Merriman, but I think he could be worth it.
Judging by their playoff performance, right now they could use some help on defense. They have a great core on defense, but I think Merriman could be the player that they are missing.
